At Ghoomana Inc, the safety and well-being of our travelers, staff, and partners is our highest priority. This Travel & Safety Policy outlines the procedures, expectations, and guidelines we follow to ensure secure, enjoyable, and responsible travel experiences across Pakistan and beyond.


1. Health & Safety Standards

  • All vehicles, hotels, and equipment used are selected based on safety, cleanliness, and reliability.
  • We ensure that our tour guides and drivers are trained in emergency response and basic first aid.
  • Medical kits are available with the tour guide during all excursions.

2. Emergency Protocols

  • In case of illness, injury, or accident, immediate first aid assistance will be provided, and the traveler will be taken to the nearest healthcare facility.
  • Ghoomana staff will notify emergency contacts if needed and assist with hospital logistics.
  • We maintain contact with local authorities and law enforcement where required.

3. Travel Insurance

  • We recommend all travelers to have personal travel insurance that covers health, accidents, cancellations, and theft.
  • Ghoomana does not bear responsibility for medical bills, lost luggage, or flight cancellations unless explicitly mentioned in the package.

4. Covid-19 & Health Advisory

  • We follow updated health advisories from the Government of Pakistan and WHO.
  • In case of outbreaks or pandemics, Ghoomana may:
    • Postpone tours
    • Require COVID testing or vaccination proof
    • Implement mask or social distancing guidelines

5. Weather & Road Conditions

  • Tours in Northern Pakistan and other regions may face weather-based disruptions.
  • Ghoomana monitors local conditions and reserves the right to alter itineraries or reschedule trips for traveler safety.
  • Delays due to landslides, snowfall, or flooding are handled on a case-by-case basis.

6. Transport Safety

  • All transport vehicles are:
    • Routinely maintained and inspected
    • Operated by licensed and experienced drivers
    • Equipped with emergency tools where possible
  • Seatbelts should be worn at all times during long road journeys.

7. Solo & Female Travelers

  • We prioritize safe accommodation and travel routes for solo and female travelers.
  • Female tour managers or guides may be assigned where needed (upon request or availability).
  • Mixed-group etiquette is strictly followed to ensure respectful conduct at all times.

8. Trekking, Hiking & Adventure Safety

  • Travelers must follow fitness and gear recommendations for treks and outdoor activities.
  • Ghoomana is not responsible for injuries caused by personal negligence, failure to follow guide instructions, or unapproved activities.
  • Specialized activities (paragliding, rafting, etc.) may require signed waiver forms.

9. Local Law Compliance

  • All travelers are expected to abide by local laws, customs, and regulations.
  • Ghoomana is not liable for any legal issues resulting from personal misconduct or violation of local norms.

10. Safety of Minors

  • Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
  • Ghoomana does not allow unaccompanied minors on tours.

11. Incident Reporting

  • Any safety concern, suspicious activity, or accident must be reported immediately to the trip leader or management.
